ASK THE FRONTIER // SHIPS & FITTING

Someone gave me a fit as a block of text. How do I use it?

That text is an EFT-format fit, and EVE can read it directly.

  1. Copy the whole block, including the [Ship, Name] line at the top.
  2. In EVE, open the Fitting window and choose to import from clipboard.
  3. The fit appears in your saved fittings. You can then buy the missing modules and fit your ship in one step.

GFVX's doctrine library has copy-ready fits in this format for missions, small gang, and exploration.
