Should I buy PLEX with real money to get ISK? Is EVE pay-to-win?

Buying PLEX and selling it for ISK is allowed. It is how some players fund themselves.

But money cannot buy experience: knowing what to fly, how to fit it, and when to leave. A pilot who buys an expensive ship before understanding it usually loses it fast.

Our advice: play with what you earn for your first weeks. Learn what you enjoy, then decide if PLEX is worth it to you. Never buy PLEX or ISK from third-party sellers, because that breaks the rules and can get your account banned.
